Our Story

Dedication and Service

Valley View began in 1897 with two Lutheran Churches in the city of Silverton. Trinity Lutheran Church and St. John's Lutheran Church, which is now Immanuel Lutheran Church. The Land was generously donated to us by the Loe Family. Today, we have generations of Lutheran families interred in our cemetery, and we are open to anyone who would like to be laid to rest here. We offer plots in the ground and niches in our Columbarium. We offer full burials and cremains burials. We have caretakers that help keep our cemetery clean and beautiful. Our well has dried up, so our grass turns brown in the summer, but returns to its beautiful green when our Willamette Valley rains come back! We are honored to care for the people who are buried in our cemetery, and would love the opportunity to help you find a resting place for your loved one. Please fill out a contact form, or book an online meeting or consultation with us, we are here to help.
